The 2pm drop
Why the sugar-free can didn't fix it.
The full-sugar can hits you with 160mg of caffeine and about 55g of sugar. The sugar spikes, then drops out from under you around 2pm.
The sugar-free can took the sugar out and put sucralose and ace-K in - and left the 160mg of caffeine exactly as it was: on its own, unbuffered.
Tilt takes the other half of the problem. 105.6mg of natural caffeine paired with 198mg of L-theanine, the amino acid in tea. And 3.7g of agave - less than a teaspoon - because it should taste like a drink, not a chemistry set.
The servo tax
Tilt vs the servo can.
Both the sugar one and the sugar-free one, next to ours. Same row, same units, no rounding in our favour.

What's in it
In plain English.
Every active is printed on the can in milligrams. Here's what each one actually is.
Sugar, from agave
Sweetened with agave, stevia and erythritol. That's 3.7g of agave and 18 calories a can, and no artificial sweeteners.
Natural caffeine
The same caffeine that's in coffee and tea, from natural sources. About a strong coffee's worth, and 32mg per 100ml - the Australian cap, same as the big cans.
L-theanine
The amino acid in tea. In trials, people who had it with their caffeine said they felt less tired and more alert than people who had caffeine alone.
L-tyrosine
An amino acid your body already makes. It's in everyday food too, like cheese, eggs and meat.
Rhodiola rosea
A plant root from cold, high country in Europe and Asia.
Contains caffeine. Not recommended for children, pregnant or lactating women, or individuals sensitive to caffeine. Consume no more than 1 can per day.
Reviews
Word for word.
I tried one can and was craving it for days after so I have been replacing my daily pick me up with Tilt ever since!!
One of if not the only Australian made energy drink with natural sweeteners, and it tastes great too!
1 thing I hate about energy drinks is the gross as after taste they leave…. this drink had none of that! The flavour is so delicious and refreshing!
Great flavours. Clean and not overly sweet or fizzy. Good balance of flavour
I generally don't like drinking energy drinks, but when i tried Tilt it changed my perspective, its got such a nice & unique flavour that cant be found in standard energy drinks.
These have such a non-artificial and refreshing taste. Highly recommend

FAQ
Questions.
What makes Tilt different?
The servo can drops you at 2pm, and the sugar-free one didn't fix that - it swapped the sugar for sucralose and left the 160mg of caffeine on its own.
Tilt is 105.6mg of natural caffeine paired with 198mg of L-theanine, the amino acid in tea, and 3.7g of agave. Same strength per 100ml as the big cans, in a 330ml can, so it's a strong coffee's worth instead of two.
Every active is printed on the can in milligrams.
Will it keep me up after an arvo shift?
It's 105.6mg of caffeine, about a strong coffee. Caffeine stays in your system for hours and everyone's different, so treat it like a coffee. If a late can keeps you up, have it earlier in the shift.
Can I have two a day?
No. The label says no more than one can a day, and we mean it. Excess consumption may have a laxative effect.
How does it compare to a servo can?
Same strength per 100ml - 32mg, the Australian cap - in a 330ml can instead of 500ml. Against the full-sugar version: 3.7g of agave against about 55g of sugar. Against the sugar-free version: agave, stevia and erythritol instead of sucralose and acesulfame K, and no added colour. Both of them list no L-theanine; Tilt has 198mg. The full side-by-side is further up this page.
Does it taste like medicine?
No, but it's not a servo can either. It's naturally sweetened, so it's less sweet, and reviewers keep saying “not overly sweet”. Some people love that and some don't, which is why the first four cans are free. If it's not for you, we refund the shipping.
Is 105.6mg of caffeine safe?
It's about the same as a strong coffee, and within the Australian limit for a can this size. Follow the label: no more than one can a day, and not for children, pregnant or lactating women, or anyone sensitive to caffeine.
Where's it made?
In Australia, from local and imported ingredients, by an Australian-owned company.
Is it vegan, gluten-free and keto-friendly?
Yes to all three. Real ingredients, nothing unnecessary.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. Pause, skip or cancel anytime from your account, before your next delivery.
What's your refund policy?
Start with the free 4-pack. If it isn't for you, email us within 100 days of delivery and we'll refund what you paid for shipping. You keep the cans. That's why the trial exists, so nobody commits to a slab they haven't tasted. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply on top of this.
Why isn't it sugar-free?
Because taking the sugar out isn't the same as fixing the drink. Tilt is sweetened with agave, stevia and erythritol, which comes to 3.7g of agave a can - less than a teaspoon, and 18 calories. No sucralose, no acesulfame K, no aspartame.
Isn't 105.6mg weaker than the big cans?
Per millilitre it's identical. Australia caps energy drinks at 32mg of caffeine per 100ml and Tilt sits at the cap, same as the big cans. Ours is a 330ml can instead of a 500ml one, so it's a strong coffee's worth rather than two.
What's erythritol?
A sweetener that occurs naturally in fruit. It's what lets the can taste sweet at 18 calories. It's a sweetener, so we say 'no artificial sweeteners' rather than 'no sweeteners'. Like the rest of the can, too much of it can have a laxative effect, which is why the label says one can a day.
